This is the first laptop I've ever bought. For those of you who care, it's a Toshiba Satellite with a duel core AMD processor running at 2.0 ghz with 2 gb ram and a 200 gb hard drive. It's not the greatest laptop on the market, especially since it didn't come with a very good graphics processing unit, but it was a definite steal at $500. If you're looking to buy a pc or laptop, I would periodically check out woot.com and sellout.woot.com for deals. Each of these websites only sells one thing a day, but the item sold is usually at a ridiculously low price. Shipping is also a flat $5 no matter how expensive the product is.

hooray for a new laptop! and i even got to see it in person..ish.
i like that new main header picture of the water and good job putting up arcade fire. did you still need those cds, i was able to salvage all my music so if you needed anything i have it!

what a stael..i think that we might just have to keep our eyes peeled for deals there.
brook is really wishing that he could be in line this morning to buy the new I-phone (and i have to agree that for everything that is included in that little ball of tech...it is a steal at $150)
